Questions

Urgent work: common questions.

Are you available 24 hours?

No. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 18:00, and urgent faults are prioritised within them. Message us outside those hours and we will reply as early as we can.

The whole street is out. Who do I call?

That is a network fault, not a house fault. Contact ESB Networks on 1800 372 999 or check their PowerCheck service.

What should I do while I wait?

If it is safe, switch off the affected circuit at the fuse board and unplug anything on it. Do not keep resetting a breaker that trips again straight away.

When should I call the emergency services?

If there is fire, smoke, or anyone has had an electric shock, call 999 or 112 first.

Send us a photo for a fast quote.

A photo, a short video and your Eircode is usually all we need. You get a straight answer from the electrician who will do the work.
